On October 20, 2022, the XLV Extraordinary General Meeting of Members of the Association was held in Sopot. The meeting was attended by several dozen members and representatives of associated companies.
During the meeting, in accordance with the agreed agenda, the Board of the Association presented the current activities and reported the status of work in individual working groups.
An important point of the meeting was the presentation of the assumptions of the "Battery Passport", i.e. new EU regulations regarding products equipped with batteries or accumulators.
Supplementary elections to the Management Board were also held in Sopot, as a result of which Tomasz Brzozowski from Enersys became a member of the SPIAB Management Board.
The Extraordinary General Meeting of Members of the Association was also an opportunity to honor the memory of one of the founders of Association, Mr. Jacek Bąk, who died in August 2022. It was unanimously decided to award the title of Honorary Member to the founder of AUTOPART
